Vegetarian Black Bean Burger Recipe

HOT DANG THESE BLACK BEAN BURGERS I MADE THE OTHER NIGHT WERE SO. STINKING. GOOD. šŸ¤¤


I mean come on look at that. I should basically switch careers & be a food blogger now. šŸ’šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø


(I can only imagine that John is laughing right now because this is the first time I've made dinner in weeks. LOL. šŸ˜‚)


I digress... here's the full recipe. šŸ‘‡šŸ»

Ingredients:

(For x1 burger)

āž– 1 Egg

āž– 1 Chipotle black bean burger (From Costco)

āž– 1 100% whole wheat flax & fiber sandwich thin (Or you could use whatever bun you dig)

āž– A slice of your favorite cheese (I used a graded cheddar mix we had)

āž– Shredded lettuce

āž– Chopped tomato's

āž– 1/2 An avocado

āž– Garlic salt

ā €ā €ā €ā €ā €ā €ā €ā €ā €

What you gotta do:

āž–Put the burger in a pan w/ light olive oil. Cook until it's crispy around the edges. Place your cheese on top while it's still in the pan to melt it a bit.

āž– In a separate pan, fry up an egg. I prefer over medium because I don't like when the yolk gets everywhere.

āž– Toast the sandwich thin & then place your burger on top, followed by the fried egg, lettuce, tomatoes & sliced avocado. (Or however you choose to build your sammich. Who am I to judge. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø)
