Keep Coaching Simple

I created this graphic a few weeks ago, forgot about it (lol typical Sarah fashion) but then saw something similar the other night that I posted to my story and decided it was time for this topic to come to my feed. šŸ˜‚

Coaches, you should know your shit. šŸ‘šŸ» You should know exactly why you're having a client perform an exercise, how it will benefit them, what muscles it's working, how to properly identify correct movement, modifications if needed and how to *simply* cue/correct your client.

That DOESN'T mean your client needs to know every little thing they're doing wrong (unless it's a safety concern, but in that case it's better to stop and break down the movement again) or that you need to over complicate your explanation to sound "smarter".

I've found what most clients need is to know that you TRULY care about them and their goals, that you can keep them accountable to those goals and that you're able to keep the process simple enough for them to adhere to.
