Fitness Should Add To The Quality Of Your Life

I was talking with one of my remote 1:1 clients yesterday and we got to discussing how your workouts will probably change over time, just as your body changes.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

He used toss around heavy weights and do HIIT style training, but is currently on functional bodybuilding plan... & guess what? Not only is he in the best shape of his life (his words, not mine lol), but he's also able to recover and feel excited for the gym the next day. He doesn't feel trashed. He doesn't feel achy. He feels good and is able to have energy at home.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

👉🏻 & Before people get their panties in a bunch, this is not to say heavy weights and HIIT is bad. 🙄 👈🏻

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you're feeling exhausted the rest of the day and into the following days after a workout, you need to look into your style of training and your recovery, because something doesn't add up.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Fitness should improve and compliment your life, not the other way around!
