my name is Sarah.

Hi there,

Lets chat!

I'm a coach.

In 2018 I started my business as a remote strength coach + personal trainer based in South Florida. Leading up to that, I earned my Bachelors of Science in 2017 from William Woods University where I ran on their track and field team on a full athletic scholarship in the 100m/400m Hurdles and mid-distance sprints. Through college I coached CrossFit (L3) and once graduated earned a personal trainer certification (NSCA CPT), a nutrition certification (PN1) and a pre/post-natal certification (CPPC). With the knowledge I've gained over the years, I have helped hundreds of clients reach their goals through supportive coaching and evidence based training methods. I have also navigated my own pregnancy and postpartum, maintaining physical activity and strength. I am passionate about helping my clients reach their goals so they can be their strongest self.

I'm a creator and blogger.

I've always enjoyed the connection that can come through social media. I share a lot of my daily life via instagram (@slynnmcrae) in hopes to inspire, educate and potentially humor those that choose to follow along. I've also always loved writing. My captions tend to be quite lengthy as I have yet to master the art of being succinct. I'd love to connect via Facebook, YouTube or on my email list!

I'm a mom.

On August 21st, 2022 John and I welcomed our sweet baby boy into the world. I had an incredibly empowering pregnancy and birth experience that I truly believe set me up for motherhood. I trusted my body and my intuition. Advocated for myself and our baby. I didn't let anyone make decisions for me, but instead did the research so I was able to make informed decisions for myself. I believe that birth is a natural process that if left undisturbed can be a whole body physical, mental and spiritually transformative experience for the mother. Birth is hard work. Being a mom is hard work. We can do hard things and have a positive experience if we choose.

I manage Cheatham Farm.

I've been known as the "crazy horse girl" ever since I could remember. I grew up in the hunter/jumper world and did local as well as 4H shows throughout my teens. I put a pause on riding through college, but immediately dove back in once I graduated. We now have our own home farm with three horses, a rescue miniature donkey, three sheep, two cats and our foster fail pitty. You can find me in the barn throughout the day caring for the animals, riding and chasing my adult amateur show goals. Through the farm, I also run a small batch sourdough bakery called Here For The Dough if you're local to the area! (Shameless plug.. my blueberry scones are out of this world)
